Day 1-3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

  • Arrive in Nairobi and take a connecting flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most popular wildlife park.
  • Spend your days on exciting game drives in search of the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino) as well as zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, and many more animals.
  • In the evenings, relax at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy meals overlooking the savanna.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha

  • Depart from the Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley.
  • This scenic area is home to a variety of wildlife, including hippos, giraffes, zebras, and pelicans.
  • Enjoy a boat safari on the lake in the afternoon, a unique way to see the animals from a different perspective.
  • In the evening, you can relax at your lodge or go for a guided nature walk.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park

  • Depart from Lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large population of pink flamingos.
  • Take a game drive in the park and see a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, rhinos, and zebras.
  • In the afternoon, you can visit a local rhino sanctuary or go for a hike to Baboon Cliff for stunning views of the lake.

Day 6-8: Mombasa

  • Depart from Lake Nakuru and drive to Mombasa, a beautiful coastal city on the Indian Ocean.
  • Relax on the beach, go swimming or snorkeling in the coral reefs, or explore the historic Old Town.
  • You can also take a day trip to Mombasa Marine National Park or visit Haller Park, a wildlife sanctuary.

Day 9: Nairobi

  • Depart from Mombasa and drive back to Nairobi.
  • In the afternoon, you can visit the Nairobi National Museum to learn about Kenyan history and culture.
  • Do some souvenir shopping at the Maasai Market or Karen Blixen Museum.
  • Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10: Departure

  • Depart from Nairobi and fly back home.
